Beautiful Creatures

Oils on 16 by 20 inch panel. Lena as chosen by the Light. I envisioned this as a hard choice coming at the price of much travail so I wanted to give her a sad, slightly tragic demeanor but have her illuminated by the light source, wearing chiffon that would catch and hold this light and standing in a sort of overblown snowfall.
I want to upload a higher resolution image but this will have to do for the time being.
